Kamakitako Lake, also known as the 'Maiden's Lake,' is a small manmade reservoir about 2 kilometers in circumference, nestled in the mountains. From mid-November to early December, the area is vibrant with autumn colors, which also reflect beautifully on the lake's surface. Visitors can enjoy ever-changing scenery as they walk around the lake. As the starting point of the Okumusashi Nature Trail, it is also a popular spot for hikers.
