Happogahara is a highland area that forms part of Nikko National Park, situated at an elevation of 1,000 to 1,200 meters. Each autumn, the landscape transforms into vibrant shades of red and yellow, offering picturesque views. The area features hiking trails, campgrounds, access roads, parking, and shops. Be sure to visit the observation deck, where you can enjoy sweeping views of Nikko, the Nasu mountain range, and even the distant Kanto Plain.
