SUMMARY:Autumn Foliage at Besshonuma Park
DESCRIPTION:Besshonuma Park in Minami Ward\, Saitama City\, spans around 79\,000 square meters and is centered around a pond fed by natural spring water from the Omiya Plateau. Along the shores\, tall trees such as Chinese dawn redwoods and bald cypresses\, originally from China and Mexico\, turn from orange to reddish-brown as autumn deepens. The leaves begin changing colors in early to mid-November\, with ginkgo and zelkova trees peaking in late November and the dawn redwoods and bald cypresses reaching their best from late November to early December\, so autumn colors can be enjoyed for nearly a month. There is a 940-meter walking path around the pond where visitors can stroll and view the reflection of the foliage in the water. The park is conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from JR Nakaurawa Station and attracts many people on weekends for walks and photography.\n\nhttps://www.sgp.or.jp/bessyonuma
