This is a popular eight-part series on calligraphy, taught by master calligrapher Masahiko Ishizaka. You are welcome to join at any session, even for just one day. Beginners and those without calligraphy tools can easily participate, as basic sets are available to borrow. This session focuses on learning cursive script—a style that’s still occasionally used today, known for its many abbreviations that make it almost unreadable, but very intriguing. At BIOTOPIA, this 'Art Taught by Japan Fine Arts Exhibition Artists' program explores calligraphy from the dual perspectives of art and relaxation.
