A monthly antique market in the grounds of Arai Yakushi (Baishoin temple) in Nakano, held for about 50 years. Dealers lay out Japanese and Western ceramics, old folk tools, kimono, jewellery and Showa-era curios, with roughly 40 to 80 stalls depending on the month. It opens at 6:00, so the best finds go early.
