This festival is held to give thanks for the past year and pray for safety in the coming year at Akiba Sanjakubo Daigongen, a deity known for fire prevention. Traditional ceremonies include a grand prayer ritual, a torchlight procession, and a fire-walking ritual, which visitors can join on the day of the event.
