SUMMARY:Ajiki Tori-no-Ichi Fair at Owashi Shrine
DESCRIPTION:Held every December as the annual grand festival of Owashi Shrine\, the Ajiki Tori-no-Ichi is known as the latest Tori-no-Ichi fair in the Kanto region. Many visitors come from within and outside the town to buy decorative rakes\, said to bring good fortune\, making it a lively local tradition. This year\, on Saturday\, November 28\, there will also be a market around the shrine selling processed products made from Kuromame black soybeans\, a local specialty of Sakae Town. Owashi Shrine\, affectionately called 'O-Washi-sama\,' is believed to be associated with Kasuga-no-Tsubone and is known as a guardian deity of success and good luck.
