DESCRIPTION:This exhibition explores the leisure pursuits of Machiko Hasegawa\, the creator of the beloved manga Sazae-san. While drawing manga was a lifelong profession\, painting and other creative pursuits offered moments of relaxation and personal enjoyment.\n\nBringing together paintings created for pleasure alongside ceramic works\, including figurines\, the exhibition reveals a side of Hasegawa's artistic practice rarely seen in the manga.
