When you think of the Kominato Railway, many picture the scenic trolley cars winding through tranquil countryside landscapes. Along the railway's route from Goi Station to Yoro Valley Station (approximately 57.2 km), the year-round event 'Satoyama Walk' invites participants to enjoy walking in the region. The course is divided into six sections, and you can start from any section, participating in as many or as few as you like and at your own pace, making it ideal for those looking to get some exercise—the shortest section is about 6 km and can be completed in roughly an hour and a half on foot. As you explore famous local sights and viewpoints, you’ll receive a badge as a completion reward for each section you finish. Collect all six original train-themed pin badges by walking the entire route!
