Features include a farmers’ market where local farmers sell their produce, an exhibition of a children’s agriculture-themed photo contest, food stalls with pork soup and processed foods made from local ingredients, as well as rice cake making and a DJ music booth. There will also be a produce contest and direct sales featuring crops grown by local farmers and residents. Visitors who vote in the contest will receive a 100 yen coupon usable at the farmers’ market. Autumn vegetable harvesting experiences (with vegetables to take home, 500 yen fee) are held twice (limited to 20 people per session).
