The Kuroshio Yosakoi Festival, held annually since 2004, returns this year. Teams comprised of participants of all ages, from children to adults, will perform vibrant and dynamic yosakoi dances. Enjoy the creative and energetic performances put on by each unique team! The festivities include a pre-festival event featuring the Nanchuu Soran dance competition at Iinuma Kannon Temple on Saturday, November 21, 2026, and the main festival on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at City Hall, Riverside, Symbol Road, and Iinuma Kannon Temple venues. The event will proceed in case of rain but will be canceled in extreme weather. Use of public transportation is recommended; several paid parking lots are available near Choshi Station.
