DESCRIPTION:Ten years have passed since the attack on residents at a care facility in Sagamihara\, Kanagawa Prefecture\, in 2016. I (Choi) provided staff training at the organization running the facility in 2014 and 2016. The incident left a feeling of helplessness and exhaustion. However\, after persistent advocacy\, in 2024\, the court officially recognized the unconstitutionality of the former Eugenic Protection Law\, sparking new developments.
