An exhibition of works by Claude Monet, the iconic Impressionist painter from France. Held in celebration of the centenary of Monet’s passing in 2026 and the 25th anniversary of the Pola Museum of Art, the show features the museum’s entire collection of 19 Monet oil paintings on public view at once. The display spans from Monet’s early to late periods, including scenes along the Seine, Saint-Lazare Station, resorts, seashores, as well as his London and Venice series and the famous Water Lilies. As the largest Monet collection in Asia, the exhibition also presents these masterpieces alongside modern works by contemporary artists from Japan and abroad.
